Christmas is in the air
as I go everywhere
Decorations of green, silver and
gold
In preparation for the celebration of the birth of our Lord.

Trees of green so tall
Decorated with ribbons, lights and balls
The main attraction I find as I visit most malls
As I and friends go for a stroll.

So busy it seems everyone
Buying cards and gifts for their loved ones
Checking carefully every name in their list
To make sure no one is missed.

How nice it is to see in every mall you want to be
Couples and their kids together so happy
As they go mall hopping as a family.

The start of dawn masses heralds the event
The romantic time all lovers anticipate
Each trying his best to attend the nine masses
Their devotion is to make it complete.

When the last mass is said and done
All rushes home and greet everyone
Find himself a seat before gift giving
And start the Yuletide feasting.

Scenes like this is typical here in our country
Where people are family-oriented we are proud to be
Gather together mostly generations of three
Giving each other love, support and care so intensely.

Christmas to some is just around the corner
While we have it from September to January
A quite long time for everyone
To greet each other...
