I’ve been to sleep for quite a time
Dreaming with you happy by my side
Feeling fulfilled and complete
That time my heart has seemed felt.

I was in heaven with you
Amid white clouds and love for you
Angels playing harp us surround
Happiness and laughter us abound.

The sleep I had was sound and deep
Until I wake up and made me leap
I realized what all I had
Was but the worst nightmare I ever had.

The love you gave me was mere fancy
I thought it was pure but, was contrary
You made me loved you each of the days
You showed it to me in so many ways.

Each moment I remember you
And all those places of our rendezvous
Can’t help but shed a tear or two
For you left me for somebody new.

Now that the sun is up and so am I
Have to face up the sky with a smile
God is all good, no one could deny
I know He is right here by my side.

The day will soon be over, in bed I will lie
Feeling contented, hope not to cry
Fears are now gone but, memories still alive
Memories of my worst nightmare in life.
