I Will Love You Forever!
Your mirror will show nights long gone yet there,
The Poet who loved your poems more than all men;
Once warm heart will still flood words and him dare
Put stumps on the hearth for readings again.
Romanced mirror's memory will slow dance
As words, eyes, hands, mouths and nakedness kiss.
The blue candle burning down will time trance
Slowing gone moments for everlasting bliss.
Dwell on children your words can produce still,
Children nursed by magnificent love past,
Pregnant again poesy, as poems have will
As the Poet your mirror recaptures at last.
Your mirror will show nights long gone yet there
Haunting nights till for the ghost Poet you care.
