Love is like a rose
Soft and gentle, blossoming everyday
Beautiful and sweet it becomes as it grows
Love is as precious as the rose

Yet love may also sting
Rain is the tears you shed for this pain
For love can be a sorrowful thing
And like the rose, there comes a time
For love to wither and die.

I am floating through life like a bird in the air, I think about you always, I need you to know I still care. Leaving you behind left a hole in my heart, torn wide open To see you again is all I keep hoping. I never met anyone quite like you You could always cheer me up when I was blue You have such a kind gentle heart I knew it right from the start. You'd wipe away the tears and bring a smile to my face You'd make me feel at home when I felt out of place. Your soothing words made my heart swell When I was with you, all felt well. You never deserted me in my times of need I'd take your hand and you'd take the lead. I'll love you forever, though it hurts to admit I miss you so much I can hardly take it.
