Romance…Are You Really Out There?

My life won't have meaning
Until that man makes my heart
Jumpstart a part
In that rat race they call
Romance

Should you dare to be that
Someone for me
In whom I can
Share everything

Let me count on wings of angels
To carry me to your destiny
For love has arrived
Truly

Let me hear from mountaintops,
How you look for hopes un-dropped
For ears un-judged
Wait for you to recite eloquently your love for me.

Too tender for ears
Other than ours to hear,
The melody of tongue orchestrating desire
In linguistic tones.

Should your arms get tired of holding up my heart,
Then our prayers will stand in,
Mounting ours together.
Should this ever end?

Untold words never said,
About how we feel for one another
Joined in afro-connectivity my brother?

Kisses whisper, "I love you",
Through unspoken, "yes me toos"
As we caress each other for the last time.

Until next time,
We share a glance of future
"Wishing you were heres"
As we wave good-bye
In hopes of love once more.
