so long we stood by each other
through the ups and downs of life
holding on to each other so tight
how fortunate we Are to be together?

the flowers may grow and wither away
the trees may grow and be cut down
but our love reamains proud and strong
how fortunate,for us,to find love so strong

the decades may come and still pass
the sun can rise and sets again in the west
but our love remains the strongest
full of honesty, passion and trust

stars may shine and fall if possible
memories can be made and still fades away
but our love remains the same, still standing
how fortunate for us, how blessed we are

if i could compare our love to something
then i would compare it with the world
for the world is eternal, never to end

all can be said and done at times
